MRCY ("Developer") establishes this Privacy Policy ("Policy") regarding the handling of personal information in the iOS application "Chuju Tore" ("App").

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal information" refers to personal information as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information — information about a living individual that can identify a specific person through descriptions such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, or other contact details, and information that can identify a specific individual on its own (personal identification information).

Article 2 (Collection of Personal Information)

The App does not require account registration and the Developer does not collect or store personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. Data generated while using the App — including study history, scores, progress, answer records, study time, and various settings ("Study Data") — is stored only on the user's device and is never transmitted to the Developer's servers.

Article 3 (Purpose of Collection and Use)

Since the Developer does not collect personal information, no use beyond the stated purpose can occur. Study Data is used solely to provide the App's features on-device, such as displaying scores and progress and presenting review items, and is never transmitted off the device. If the Developer begins collecting crash reports or anonymous usage statistics in the future, this Policy will be updated and users will be notified in advance.

Article 4 (Changes to Purpose of Use)

  1. The Developer will change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized as having a relevant connection to the purpose before the change.
  2. When a change of purpose occurs, the updated purpose will be communicated to users via the App's update notes or this page.

Article 5 (Provision to Third Parties)

  1. Since the Developer does not collect personal information, no provision to third parties occurs. However, this does not apply where disclosure is required by applicable law.
  2. The App contains no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking libraries.
  3. The App's Paid Features are provided as an auto-renewing subscription (In-App Purchase) through Apple Inc. Payment information is processed under Apple's privacy policy, and the Developer does not obtain or store payment information. To the extent necessary to verify subscription status, records of purchases and renewals (purchase transaction information that does not identify an individual) may be shared from Apple to the Developer.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

Since the Developer does not collect or retain personal information, there is no data subject to disclosure requests. Study Data stored on the device can be deleted at any time by the user through the App's settings screen or by uninstalling the App.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

Since the Developer does not retain personal information, there is no data subject to correction or deletion requests. Users can manage and delete on-device data through the App's settings screen.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

Since the Developer does not retain personal information, there is no data subject to suspension or erasure requests. Uninstalling the App will delete all Study Data stored on the device.

Article 9 (Children's Privacy)

The App is a learning app intended to be used by children. As stated above, the Developer does not require account registration and does not collect any personal information such as names or contact details. All Study Data is stored only on the device. Guardians can manage their child's use through device settings and Screen Time.

Article 10 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

  1. The content of this Policy may be changed without notifying users, except as required by law or otherwise specified in this Policy.
  2. The revised Privacy Policy takes effect when posted on this page. Changes that materially affect users' rights will be communicated via the App's update notes in advance.
